However, it is not yet known the benefits of providing this menu labelling to consumers. This study aimed to determine the association between nutrition knowledge among students with the use of menu labelling as well as between the use of menu labelling with food purchasing behaviour among students. This was a cross-sectional study design through online questionnaire inviting all of UGM students via various social media platform. This study involved 231 subjects who met inclusion criteria. Chi-Square test was used to measure association between variables. There was no significant difference of nutrition knowledge based on subjects characteristics, except background of study cluster (p=0,000). There was no significant difference of the use of menu labelling based on subjects characteristics, except whether they were in the weight management and special diet (p=0,012 and p=0,011, respectively). There was a significant association between nutrition knowledge with the use of menu labelling among students (p=0.023), as well as between the use of menu labelling with food purchasing behaviour among students (p=0.000). The nutrition label policy should be implemented and evaluated to other canteens to increase healthy eating behaviour among students, as well as general community. ER -
