AB - A good level of fitness is important for students, especially final semester students at vocational colleges majoring in health who have field practicum activities in health services. However, a study in Health Polytechnic Tasikmalaya showed that 100 percent of students have endurance levels very low. Several factors can affect the level of fitness of students. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between BMI, hemoglobin levels, and physical activity to the cardiorespiratory fitness level of students at Environmental Health Department Health Polytechnic Ministry of Health Jakarta II. This research was descriptive-analytic with a cross-sectional design. The total sample of 30 people, and was taken by purposive sampling. Data collection includes BMI, hemoglobin levels using the EasyTouch GCHb digital device, physical activity through interviews using the Physical Activity Level (PAL) form, and cardiorespiratory fitness levels using the beep test method. Statistical analysis included frequency distribution and bivariate using the Chi-Square test. The results of this study showed most of the subjects were 20 years old (60,0%), their cardiorespiratory level was very poor (50,0%) and poor (50,0%), BMI normal (43,3%), underweight (30,0%), overweight (26,7%), normal hemoglobin levels (63,3%) and light physical activity (56,7%). There was a significant relationship between physical activity to the cardiorespiratory fitness level (p = 0,027). There was no significant relationship between BMI (p > 0,05) and hemoglobin levels (p > 0,05) to the cardiorespiratory fitness level. It suggested, that campuses and student organizations can hold an exercise program once a week for students to increase physical activity and finally their fitness level.
