The situation in the field is that many mothers do not reflect the provision of balanced nutritious food and good parenting so that problems arise in the nutritional status of children. Collecting anthropometric data and questionnaires with Chi-Square test data analysis. The results of this study were mostly mother's perceptions of good balanced nutrition, good nutrition parenting, and mostly normal child nutritional status. Based on the Chi-Square statistical test, there was a relationship between mother's perception of balanced nutrition and the nutritional status of children under five (p=0.000), and there was no relationship between nutritional parenting and nutritional status of children under five (p=0.062).Efforts to increase maternal perceptions by improving the practice of nutritional parenting by feeding, psychosocial stimulation, have a major role in child growth.
